Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23, 1960)[2] is an American actress. As a teenager she became famous as Barbara Cooper Royer, a character she played on the television show One Day at a Time. Her performance earned her 2 Golden Globe Awards in this part for the Best Actress in a TV Film, Miniseries and Series. In the following years, she became a star as an adult in the series Touched by an Angel 2001-2003 as well as Melanie Moretti in the sitcom Hot in Cleveland 2010-2015. In the latter, she was awarded an award from the Screen Actors Guild Award. As of 2012, she was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli was signed to a new contract to join Food Network in December 2021. She has been hosting several shows for Food Network such as Valerie's cooking at home (2015-2023) and the Children Baking Championships (2015-present). It was the latter had the show two Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominations. Bertinelli's contract renewal was announced with Food Network on December 20 in 2021. Bertinelli married rocker Eddie Van Halen between the years 1981-2007. She has one child together with him, Wolfgang.
